Applications are reviewed by the Hiring Committee. Applicants that meet the qualification requirements are contacted and scheduled for a typing test.
A passing score for the typing test is 8000 keystrokes per hour. Applicants can test or practice their skills using various online sites. Those who pass the typing test will advance to the written test.
We currently use the Stanard & Associates’ National Dispatcher Selection Test. The passing score is 75% or higher. The first step of the hiring process includes interviews, a Kolbe assessment, and drug testing.
